About Me

With a Full-Stack Develeoper certification from Case Western Reserve and experience developing websites & marketing strategies at Website NEO Inc, I am eager to contribute my knowledge of Web Design, coding, and marketing. I started my schooling with a Bachelor's Degree in Media Communications and Minor in Spanish from Muskigum University. This was because I enjoyed developing and editing packages for my school's news station, and even became the producer. Since then I have transferred my technical and creative skills from video editing over to web design and coding, and I haven't regretted it since. As you've probably noticed this entire website is made from scratch using only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I've been told I have a very good eye for design and most of my projects are done in WordPress, which I've become quite comfortable with.

I've discovered that I love the challenge of graphic design, programming, and the ability to create new website and applications from scratch. Creativity has always been important for me. I've been playing guitar for 6 years and play a little drums and harmonica as well. However these days my main drive is learning more about Graphic Design and Marketing. In 2018 I started teaching myself HTML and JavaScript the same way I taught myself music. Through YouTube videos. I then furthered that study by enrolling in the Case Western Reserve Full Stack Academy. I am excited about the new skills I have learned and love using them to support a technical team. Web Design challenges me in ways I've never been pushed before and it's a relief to finally find something I'm passionate about and want to do for the rest of my career. I'm someone who believes you should never stop learning and no line of work encapsulates that better than Web Development.
